Susan James and the Life Jacket Raffle Lil' Anglers Fish Derby May 25, 2024 It was a beautiful morning for 23 little anglers at Libby's fish pond on Saturday, May 18. The annual derby was sponsored by Rotary Club of the Kootenai Valley which provided prizes and snacks after the derby. Susan James, park ranger at Libby Dam, was also on hand to provide information about the free life jacket raffle currently available to enter. One hundred twenty life jackets were acquired from a grant jointly obtained by Lincoln County Connections MT, Lincoln County Health Department, Northwest Motor Sports and USACE Libby Dam rangers.
