Libby Area Chamber of Commerce Duck Race

The Libby Chamber held its previously annual fundraising duck race on Saturday, July 8, in the Ace Hardware parking lot. The duck race has not been held for several years but was put back on the schedule this year.
Normally held in Flower Creek, the creek was too low this year so instead the "race" was held in a kiddie pool. Bruce Vincent did the honors by falling into the pool (wearing several flotation items) and picking ducks for the winners.
The Chamber reports that 394 ducks were sold at $20 each.
Liz Whalen was the lucky pick as the grand prize winner of $1000.00.
