Steller's Jay January 10, 2023 A Steller's Jay surveys its surroundings for food on a recent January day. Year-round residents of western Montana, they're commonly seen around bird feeders. They're omnivorous, eating a wide variety of food including insects, suet, nuts, seeds, berries, fruit, and eggs and young of smaller birds.
