Eureka Outdoor Quilt Show
August 8, 2022
Eureka held its annual outdoor quilt show Saturday, August 6. Held nearly every year since 2005 (cancelled last year due to a lack of volunteers), this year's show was a welcome return for the quilting community. Quilts are hung around the Historical Village and along Dewey Avenue, inviting a stroll to see the colorful display of quilting talent.
As in years past, a special exhibit of Quilts for Heroes was also on display at the Veterans Memorial Park. Those quilts are made for the purpose of donating to veterans at the PTSD unit of the VA Medical Center at Fort Harrison in Helena.
This year's show featured 381 large quilts, 59 miniature quilts, and 13 Quilts for Heroes.
The quilt show is held the first Saturday in August every year.
