Bull Lake Ice Fishing Derby
Halfway House Bar and Grill
February 23, 2022

The Halfway House Bar and Grill held its annual ice fishing derby over the weekend, February 19-20, on Bull Lake. Saturday afternoon was cold and windy as a weather system moved in, so ice houses and portable stoves were welcome while waiting for the big one to bite.

A total of 202 contestants had signed up for the weekend derby. The winning pike weighed 13.0 pounds, caught by Terrie Franke.
