Traditional Archery Shoot
Libby Archery Club
May 5, 2021
The Libby Archery Club held its annual Traditional 3D Archery Shoot over the weekend of May 1-2 at Fawn Creek Campground.
Cancelled last year due to the Covid pandemic, archery fans were eager to get back to their annual events. This year's shoot still looked a little different than usual in observance of Covid concerns, such as no food vendors and no trophies awarded, but Saturday's turnout of 130 archers, with more expected on Sunday, signaled a welcome return of one of Libby's yearly springtime events.
The club's annual Fisher River Shootout, allowing compound bows, will be held this coming weekend, May 8-9, again at Fawn Creek Campground.
