Santa Flies to Libby
Red Sleigh Over Montana
December 24, 2020
The Museum of Mountain Flying in Missoula organized its first ever Red Sleigh Over Montana to deliver gifts to rural Montana children. Communities served by the volunteer pilots included Libby, Eureka, Drummond, Superior, Plains, Thompson Falls, Shelby, Anaconda, Butte, Cut Bank, Choteau, the Sunset School, Stevensville, Philipsburg, Deer Lodge, Seeley Lake, White Sulphur Springs, Potomac, and Lincoln.
Glacier Bank and Northwest Community Health Center partnered with the Museum of Mountain Flying to bring Santa to Libby. Santa arrived in Libby around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23, to deliver toys to area children at the airport. The Museum hopes to make this a yearly tradition.
