Kayakers at Kootenai Falls

Becky Kosena and her family, from Kalispell Montana, visited Kootenai Falls on August 29th and were surprised to see a group of kayakers braving going over the falls. "We watched them drop over the falls one by one," she said. The falls can be extremely dangerous and a number of people have lost their lives attempting to go over the rushing water. The movie, "The River Wild" (1994) was filmed here, as well as a portion of the movie, "The Revenant" (2015).
