Libby residents woke up to about five inches of new snow on Saturday, January 11. With adequate snow at the golf course, Dr. Greg Rice held a cross-country ski refresher and in town, area kids were able to take advantage of the sled hill at Ski Dale. And Turner Mountain opened Friday, January 10, with 8" of new snow Saturday morning and another 6" Sunday morning. Winter has arrived.
