Thursday – Sunday, Sept. 12-15: Kootenai Country Montana International Chainsaw Carving Championship The third annual International Chainsaw Carving Championship, hosted by Kootenai Country Montana, will be held this weekend beginning Thursday, September 12. Three and one-half days of awe-inspiring chainsaw art will be on display on Mineral Avenue downtown. Auctions, raffles, food court and beer garden are planned. Admission is free.
Thursday – Sunday, Sept. 12-15: Play: "The History of Dating" , At the Maki (Little) Theatre in Libby, 7:00PM, Sunday matinee Sept. 15 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 sold in advance at The Printing Press, Lincoln County Credit Union, Homesteader's Ranch & Feed, Libby Chamber of Commerce, cast members and Kootenai Heritage Council members. Children 10 and under are $6.00.

Friday, Sept. 13: David Thompson Search & Rescue 50th Anniversary Celebration, Libby Riverfront Park, 6:30PM. Everyone invited to come down to the Pavilion for food, drinks and see the demonstrations.
Saturday, Sept. 14: Nordicfest Parade 11:00AM
