2WD Stadium Trucks Hot August Showdown Kootenai RC Racers August 7, 2019 The Kootenai RC Racers held their 7th annual Hot August Showdown remote control car races over the weekend, August 3-4, at Snowshoe Speedway. There were 52 entries this year, doubling last year's 25 entries. Participants came from Libby, Missoula, Spokane, Idaho...a great showing and evidence of the club's and the event's growing popularity. The weather cooperated with sunshine and a clear blue sky. Hosted by Kootenai RC Racers and Scheer Bros. Hobbies, and with the help of numerous club volunteers, the event is a family-friendly weekend of camaraderie and a shared love of remote control racing.
