West Kootenai Amish Auction

The Amish community in the West Kootenai held its annual auction Saturday, June 8, which benefits the local Amish school. The popular auction attracts hundreds of people from around the region including surrounding states and provinces. Amish-crafted cabins, furniture and quilts are the biggest draws, but an assortment of miscellaneous items are always offered, along with a homemade lunch, baked goods and ice cream.
The auction is scheduled every year for the second Saturday in June.
