Bull Lake Ice Fishing Derby

Halfway House Bar and Grill hosted its annual ice fishing derby over the weekend, February 2-3. By early Saturday afternoon, 137 people had registered for the derby. Pike was the target species with awards going to the largest pike (Josh Tachell at 21.2 lb.) and the combined weight of three pike (Vic Crace at 37.6 lb.).
Originally scheduled for January 19-20, the derby was postponed due to ice conditions.
