Kootenai River Stampede
August 1, 2018
Known for the second year as the Kootenai River Stampede, Libby's Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) sanctioned event hit the J. Neils Park arena over the weekend, July 27-28. Formerly known as the Kootenai River Rodeo, the Kootenai River Stampede took shape last year to continue Libby's summer rodeo tradition.
This year's entertainment was provided by Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey and his trusty Border Collie partner, Boogie. Together they rounded up three Barbados sheep.
Also entertaining the crowd was rodeo clown Timber Tuckness.
As always, Libby's volunteers, sponsors, business contributions, individual donations, and community support make the rodeo possible for all to enjoy.
