Hot August Showdown Hot August Showdown August 6, 2018 The Kootenai RC Racers held their 6th annual Hot August Showdown remote control car races over the weekend, August 4-5, at Snowshoe Speedway. There were 25 entries from Libby, Spokane, Kalispell and the Tri-Cities. The weather cooperated with sunshine, clear skies, and fortunately, not a lot of smoke. Hosted by Kootenai RC Racers and Scheer Bros. Hobbies, the event is a low-key, family-friendly weekend of shared interest in the sport of RC racing. Related Link: KootenaiRCRacers on Facebook
