Libby Logger Days 2018
June 28, 2018
Libby held its 60th annual Logger Days over the weekend, June 22-23, at J. Neils Park with lawn mower races highlighting Friday's events, along with a carnival, kids' events and the adult tug-of-war. Saturday started off with a morning 5K/10K Logger Days Fun Run, followed by the annual parade downtown, the carnival, a kids' water fight, three showings of the Timberworks Lumberjack show, kids' logging and other events, and the Bull/Bullette of the Woods competition in the evening. The Hankers band played both evenings.
Logger Days is Libby's tribute to the town's logging heritage and is made possible by the countless volunteer hours supplied by members of the community and the businesses that support the effort.
