The twelfth annual Incredi-Bull bull riding event was held Saturday evening, June 9, at J. Neils Park with 26 riders competing, along with an exhibition ride by Zack Morrison, who will be a high school sophomore in the fall. Libby's Jason Colclough, Troy's Kris Ledbeter and Trego's Gerald Eash were the area locals competing in the event.
The ride is sanctioned by Elite Professional Bullriders, Inc.
This year's winner was Payton Fitzpatrick with a long round score of 86. Wyatt Wilks had a score of 79.5, Tucker Miller scored 79, Shawn Best II had a score of 77.5, Coy Jones scored 74, and Payton Nelson scored 71.5. No rider completed the short round.
Incredi-Bull is a local non-profit association that sponsors a yearly $1000 scholarship to a local high school senior who plans to pursue post-secondary education in a natural resource field. This year's recipient is Haylee Cannon. Local businesses and the community of rodeo fans help make the event, and the scholarships, possible.
Musical entertainment by the Steve Starkey band followed the bull riding.
