Spring's Around the Corner March 6, 2018 It's March, and hopeful signs of spring are signaling us. Birds are returning and filling the air with their calls, geese are flying overhead, the weather is warming and is somewhat unpredictable (with sunshine, clouds, snow squalls, wind and back to sunshine in the space of an afternoon), and an overall sense of "spring is in the air." This nuthatch, a year-round resident, was feeding on seeds on a recent morning.
