Flag Half Staff notice Flag Half Staff notice In respect for victims in Sutherland Springs, Texas church shooting massacre November 6, 2017 President Donald J. Trump has ordered that the flag of the United States shall be flown at half-staff effective immediately until sunset, Thursday, November 9, 2017 as a mark of respect for the victims in the Sutherland Springs, Texas church shooting massacre. 26 people were killed and 20 injured in the attack. _____________________________________ Note: As a matter of protocol, state and any other flags should be lowered to half-staff as well, no flag may be higher than the United States flag.
