Heritage Museum Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
September 23, 2017
The Heritage Museum celebrated the end of its summer season with a special ribbon cutting ceremony dedicating the new outdoor pavilion on Saturday, September 23. A pie baking contest, some running outside exhibits, vendors, an open cookhouse and live music by the band Rural 508 were featured entertainment, and the museum and gift shop were open as well.
Doug Adams was given special recognition for his contributions as a volunteer in building the pavilion. Doug has also volunteered his time on other projects around town, including the concrete dugouts at Lee Gehring Field and the concrete entrance sign at J. Neils Park.
The Heritage Museum's new pavilion was named Heritage Pavilion.
