Troy's Old Fashioned 4th of July
July 9, 2017
Troy celebrated the 4th of July Tuesday in its family-friendly, small town-with-a-big heart fashion with events throughout the day and into the evening. The annual fireworks show concluded the day's festivities that included a 5K color run, parade, car show, Pitiful Players presentation, vendors, food, music, 3-on-3 basketball, and kids' activities. Also this year was the Kootenai National Forest's traveling ornament-making station with materials available for making ornaments to adorn the 2017 Capitol Christmas tree to be provided by the Kootenai National Forest.
The Troy Chamber of Commerce and City of Troy host the Old Fashioned 4th, which is organized and run by volunteers.
