Pine Siskin March 1, 2017 Pine siskins, members of the finch family, can be found throughout the winter near feeders and on conifers and shrubs where they can find seeds. Brown, sparrow-sized birds, they have yellow edgings on their wings and tails. They're gregarious, cheerful-sounding birds, constantly twittering as they fly in flocks to search for food.
