Temporary jobs in fire, trails and recreation positions available On the Kootenai National Forest December 30, 2016 The Kootenai National Forest has temporary job positions opening soon. Temporary fire and trail/recreation positions will open on January 4, 2017 and close on January 10. Information about these jobs is available at the Libby and Thompson Falls Job Service office, Kootenai National Forest Supervisor’s Office in Libby, and the Ranger District offices. Other temporary positions for timber, biology, clerical, etc will open approximately February 1, 2017 and close on February 7. Applicants must apply through usajobs.gov and specify locations they are interested in working. For the Kootenai National Forest positions may be located in Libby, Eureka, Troy and Trout Creek, Montana. Hard copy applications will not be accepted. Additional information will be posted at the Forest Service offices when available. More information is available online at http://www.fs.usda.gov/kootenai.
