Dave Weatherhead Timberworks Lumberjack Show Libby Logger Days June 29, 2016 Libby Logger Days featured three performances of the Timberworks Lumberjack Show, a professional touring company demonstrating traditional logging events. Saturday's performances included the single buck, ax throw, springboard chop, obstacle pole race, hot saw, speed climbing, and log rolling (birling). A humorous speed carving demonstration also provided a carved log chair to a lucky child from the audience. The show provided an entertaining glimpse into our country's logging history and the skills possessed by loggers of the past.
