It's Spring!
March 1, 2016

March 1 marks the first day of meteorological spring, which is based on months of the year and includes March, April and May. Meteorological seasons are based on temperature cycles coinciding with our calendar, while astronomical seasons are based on the position of the earth relative to the sun (noaa.gov). Astronomical spring (spring equinox) begins March 20.

And the robins confirm either definition of spring. A flock was seen at the golf course on Friday.
