Smoky Skies
August 23, 2015
Driving with headlights on during daylight hours has become the norm lately with our smoke-filled skies. With large fires burning around the Flathead, in Idaho and Washington, and around the Kootenai, smoke is coming from every direction. A wind shift and isolated thunderstorms on Saturday helped clear the air, but Sunday saw smoke filling our skies once again. Stage II fire restrictions are currently in place.
