Heritage Museum Opens for Season
June 2, 2015
The Heritage Museum opened for the season Saturday, with a variety of events including a display by the Kootenai Muzzleloaders, a spinning and weaving demonstration, Native American games and presentations about lookouts on the Kootenai National Forest and lookout restoration and maintenance. A Humanities Montana speaker presented a program about the Rendezvous period of the 1800s.
Although the weather was not altogether cooperative with rain showers through the day, there was still plenty to see and do at the museum's summer opening.
The museum is now open for the season: Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
