The Libby High School cheerleaders performed their bag
dance at halftime Friday night during the boys'
basketball home game with Whitefish. The Whitefish
Bulldogs won the contest with a score of 49-41. The Lady
Loggers won their game with Whitefish, 37-29.
During Saturday's double-header at home with Frenchtown,
the boys had a very exciting 47-45 win with a last-second
basket by Collin Johnson, shot from an inbounds play. The
Lady Loggers lost to the Lady Broncs, 40-58.
Wrestling divisionals were also held over the weekend in
Polson. Taking 4th place in their weight classes were
Alex Yeadon and Dylan Parrish. Michael Miller took 3rd.
Laine Young took 2nd and Zach Crace and Garret Chapel
took 1st. The top four in each weight class will go to
the All-Class state tournament in Billings next Saturday,
February 14.
