Shooting in Libby results in death of Kalispell man Michael Roloff victim by Duane Williams, KLCB-KTNY Radio December 29, 2014 A Kalispell man was shot and killed Friday evening, Dec. 26th, in Libby. About 10:17 pm, Lincoln County Sheriff's Dispatch received a 911 call from Lois Kay Olbekson, age 57, of Libby, reporting she had been threatened by her son-in-law, Michael Leonard Roloff, age 31 of Kalispell, and she shot him in the chest with a .22 caliber handgun. Deputies arrived at 248 Glendora Avenue about three minutes after the call was received to find an adult male unresponsive lying on the front driveway of the home. Deputies secured the scene and commenced CPR. Libby Volunteer Ambulance transported Roloff to Cabinet Peaks Medical Center where he was pronounced dead by medical personnel at about 10:58 pm. No arrest has been made. Charges have not been filed.
