Commissioner Downey resigns by Duane Williams, KLCB-KTNY Radio June 5, 2014 County Commissioner Ron Downey announced Wednesday (June 4) he is resigning his seat as County Commissioner. Downey has represented the Troy district for the last three and a half years. Downey said he is resigning for personal reasons that will not allow him to continue to fulfill his duties as County Commissioner to the fullest extent.
