Wildland Firefighter Challenge June 7th

The second annual Kootenai Wildland Firefighter Challenge and FireSafe Expo will be held at J. Neils Park on Saturday, June 7th beginning at 10:00 a.m. The challenge raises funds to donate to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation, which provides financial and emotional assistance to families of wildland firefighters who die or are seriously injured in the line of duty. Besides the firefighter challenge events, there will be a fundraising dinner with a silent auction and general raffle. The Lincoln County FireSafe Council will also have a fire expo including booths and fire education presentations.
