Souse Gulch boat ramp closed due to ice

The Libby Dam boat ramp at Souse Gulch is closed until further notice due to icy conditions.

The recent weather has created a thick buildup of ice on the boat ramp at Souse Gulch, an access point to the reservoir behind the dam. Due to icy conditions, for boater safety, the Souse Gulch Boat ramp onto Lake Koocanusa from Libby Dam will be closed until conditions improve.

However, the gravel boat ramp downriver below the dam on the Kootenai River remains open.
