Troy Mine restart likely to be delayed another year over safety concerns

Out of production for a year, since December of last year, it is going to be another year before Revett Minerals can put the Troy mine back into production.
Continued inspections of the lower haul route shows more instability and does not meet safety standards. Cost of a new access decline will cost Revert an estimated $12 million.
The company estimates a mine life of another ten years at Troy and the Troy mine will continue to be Revett's bridge into the all-important Rock Creek mine. _______________________________________
