Libby Dam Visitor Center open through September

The Libby Dam Visitor Center will remain open 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. daily through September offering visitors an opportunity to view a new exhibit about the Columbia River Treaty between the U.S. and Canada as well as informative movies, displays and more.
Tours of the dam are available on a drop-in basis at 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. through Aug. 24. Please bring photo ID and arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour time to register.
After Aug. 24, tours are available by appointment only. Please call (406) 293-5577 to make a reservation.
Other recreational opportunities near Libby Dam include picnicking, fishing, boating, camping, wildlife viewing, hiking and disc golf.
On Saturday, Aug. 31, Libby Dam will host the Montana Professional Disc Golf Statewide tournament on the Kooky-Noosa, a challenging disc golf course onsite.
