Four bicyclists will pass through Libby the evening of Sunday, August 11.
The bicyclists include retired USMC Lt Col John Foldberg and three young men ages 20, 17, and 16. John Foldberg is a volunteer firefighter from California. The group is bicycling 3,700 mile across the country for the next ten weeks from Anacortes, Washington to Yorktown, Virginia on behalf of disabled veterans as they raise money for the Semper Fi Fund, a non-profit organization that supports wounded Marines and other service members.
The team is looking for lodging in Libby for Sunday night. The team has budgeted for lodging and food expenses. In order to provide more for the Semper Fi Fund, the team is seeking low cost lodging options.
They will depart early Monday morning to ride to Kalispell. _________________________________________
