Optima purchases Libby Creek mining claims

There is a new player in the Libby silver mines saga. A new company named Optima has reportedly purchased the last two claims on Libby Creek in the area of the Montanore. The company was recently formed in June, according to reports, and may have ties to Frank Duvall, who founded Revett Minerals, the operators of the Troy mine.
Libby is sitting on one of the world's largest silver-copper deposits.
A Revett spokesperson told KLCB she didn't have any specific detail regarding Optima and their company structure. "I can tell you Revett is not involved directly or indirectly with Optima or the Duvall family," she told us. "Our focus is currently dedicated to resuming production at Troy and advancing the permitting on Rock Creek. The recent news of the Libby Creek claims purchase does not have an impact on us and we really don't know what Optima's intentions are."
There was no comment from Mines Management to our request.
Revett's Troy Mine closed last December due to rock fall and unstable ground conditions. Montanore has been embattled with environmental issues for years, as has been Revett's Rock Creek project, and Montanore now is involved as a pawn and stumbling block in the City of Libby's new Flower Creek dam construction. __________________________________________
