The tenth annual PRCA Kootenai River Rodeo was held Friday and Saturday evenings at J. Neils Park, organized by the Kootenai River Rodeo committee and sponsored in large part by Montanore Minerals Corporation. The program included two nights of bareback riding, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, saddle bronc riding, team roping, barrel racing and bull riding.
JJ Harrison was back as the rodeo clown, providing humorous entertainment as always. We love you, JJ!
A special tribute to a few of Libby's "Hometown Heroes" was presented by Sheriff Roby Bowe Friday night.
