Highway 2 reconstruction south of Libby from mile markers 45
to 49 is in full swing, and blasting activity can be expected.
The official Montana Department of Transportation web site
states: "Reconstruction work in progress. Expect delays up to
120 minutes, detour, reduced speed varying from 25 to 45 MPH,
single lane closures, flaggers. There are short detours in
place within the work zone for both directions of travel."
Additionally, pavement has been torn up in short stretches,
and the road can be very rough in these sections.
