Kootenai Valley Partners Habitat for Humanity held their 19th
annual STOKR (Scenic Tour of the Kootenai River) fundraiser
May 11-12, and Sunday's STOKR was another successful ride.
The weather was warm with sunshine and an only slightly
overcast sky. It was a great day for a bike ride to Libby
Dam, where cinnamon rolls were the featured treat and the
Visitors Center provided a place to rest and visit with other
riders.
It takes two STOKRs to build one Habitat for Humanity home.
Nine homes have been built in the Kootenai Valley with the
participation of STOKR riders and the help from numerous
volunteers that go into each home.
