STOKR Saturday 2013

Another successful STOKR was held last weekend, with
Saturday's weather made-to-order. Sunshine, blue sky and
beautiful weather made the ride perfect for the bicyclists,
although the climb up to Pipe Creek summit was getting a
little warm for some as the temperature climbed into the 80s.
Over 400 riders signed up for the weekend ride. As always,
Saturday's riders could either take the Lake Creek/Iron Creek
45-mile loop, or the 98-mile Yaak/Pipe Creek loop.
Thanks to all the riders who came to support the Kootenai
Valley Partners Habitat for Humanity. It takes two STOKRs to
build one home, and to date, nine homes have been built with
another in the works. The Hopfinger family will be the
recipients of the current house being built.
