David Thompson Black Powder Shoot

Eureka held its annual Rendezvous Days April 26-28, a
celebration of community, family, history and tradition. The
activities and attractions are numerous, and one of the
featured events is the David Thompson Black Powder Shoot.
Hosted by the Tobacco River Muzzleloaders, the shoot attracts
black powder enthusiasts in period dress and spectators who
enjoy stepping into the past for a brief peek at how our
forebears might have dressed, hunted, and socialized. The
camaraderie is enjoyed by all.
