March 6 in Libby, March 7 in Eureka
February 24, 2013
Two community workshops for the Lake Koocanusa Montana Scenic-Historic and National Forest Scenic Byway will be held in March. Together with the community and agency partners, the Kootenai National Forest is developing a scenic byway corridor management plan. They will be hosting a series of public workshops to identify the community’s vision and goals for this scenic driving experience. The success of the project depends on community participation, so the public is encouraged to attend either of the following locations and dates: March 6, 2013: Venture Inn, Libby, MT, 6:00-8:00 pm March 7, 2013: Lincoln County High School, Eureka, MT, 6:00-8:00 pm Workshop 1 will include the project introduction and preliminary identification of the vision, intrinsic features, and marketing goals. They will hold the same workshop over two evenings in Libby and Eureka. (The same materials will be presented at both meetings.)
