The Libby Senior Center serves Meals on Wheels Tuesday through Friday of every week, and in the past year has delivered over 4,000 meals, traveling over 6,000 miles to do so. About sixty people regularly receiving delivered meals and many others get them temporarily or occasionally when recovering from an illness or surgery. The delivery area encompasses a six-miles radius from Libby with focus on healthy meals for all ages with a special emphasis on seniors.
The employees of St. John's contributed $197.82 to the cause. St. John's Lutheran Hospital will be matching its employee's contributions, bringing the total up to $395.64. ____________________________________
