Ice Fishing on Middle Thompson Lake
Fisher River Valley Fire/Rescue Ice Fishing Derby
January 27, 2013
Fisher River Valley Fire/Rescue held its 7th annual ice
fishing derby January 26 and 27 on the Thompson Chain of
Lakes. The derby is a fundraiser for the fire department with
a portion of the entry fee going to the fire/rescue
organization. Cash prizes were awarded for pike, salmon,
rainbow and perch. As of 2:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon, 277
contestants had registered for the derby.
