Hunter Education classes scheduled for Libby and Eureka

Hunter Education Classes have been scheduled for Libby and Eureka in northwest Montana. All hunter education classes are free of charge. By state law, anyone born after January 1, 1985, must have completed the Hunter Education Course to buy a hunting license in Montana. To become certified, students must be at least 11-years old.
Libby: Register online at fwp.mt.gov, click education. Classes meet from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on February 6, 11, 12, 13 and 15. Classes are held at the Libby Elementary School, 150 Education Way. The field course will be held on Saturday, February 16. Lead instructor is Challis Crismore. Contact Bill Swagger for more information at 406-293-5256.
Eureka: Register online at fwp.mt.gov, click education. First night of class is March 4, 7-9 p.m. at the Eureka Middle School Library. Classes continue from 7-9 p.m. on March 11, 12, 14, 18, 19, 21; field day is Saturday, March 16. Call Ron Hvizdak at 406-889-3791 for more information.
