Revett to install ground monitoring devices at Troy Mine Response to earthquake on Dec. 5th by Duane Williams, KLCB-KTNY Radio December 18, 2012 Revett Minerals has temporarily suspended underground mining operations at its Troy Mine due to concerns with underground geotechnical conditions. While it is believed that conditions have stabilized, a decision has been made to install geophone monitoring devices and begin recording and analyzing data. The company will review ground conditions on a daily basis and will resume underground operations as soon as possible. The company says it may take up to two weeks to assess, monitor and return to full operations.
