Polar Bear Plunge

It was the chilliest plunge of this season Sunday, as three
intrepid Polar Bears took their weekly swim in Libby Creek.
With the air temperature at 23 degrees, the water at 36
degrees, and snow on the ground, it was weather fit for winter
swimmers. Rick Klin, Steve Sonju and Craig Allen all took the
plunge.

The New Year plunge will be held December 30 at Riverfront
Park at the boat ramp at 2:30 p.m. Spectators and swimmers
alike are welcome! For more information, call Polar Bear Rick
