City Council gives conditional approval for veteran’s monument in Libby by Duane Williams, KLCB-KTNY Radio December 6, 2012 The Libby City Council has granted "conditional approval" to a veteran's group for the construction of a veteran's monument in the newly developed Riverfront Park. The conditional approval is contingent on the veteran's group's completion of a city required "punch list". The punch list includes proper engineering, creation of a legal entity that can enter into a lease arrangement with the city for the land on which to place the monument, liability insurance, and provisions for continuing maintenance to name a few items. The monument will occupy a square 75 feet by 75 feet.
