The Libby Food Pantry needs the community’s help in fulfilling the goal of a "Bird in Every Basket", for Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday baskets.
In these hard times, the Food Pantry has experienced a rise in use of the Libby Food Pantry’s resources, while revenues from various assistance programs are on the decline. The goal of the Food Pantry is to help those in need enjoy the holidays. The cost of meat for these holiday baskets has always been a big strain on the Food Pantry budget, and is more so with the rising cost of food.
In an effort to accomplish the goal, the Food Pantry is asking the community to support the first annual "Bird in Every Basket" fundraiser. To be a sponsor, all you need to do is send your check for any amount, made payable to the Libby Food Pantry, to P.O. Box 311, Libby, MT 59923. Donations are tax deductible.
Your donation will assist in raising the cash donations necessary to qualify for matching funds from Town Pump in the amount of $4,000. Donations can double if the goal is met by November 30th. __________________________________________
