Due to continued increased outflow from Libby Dam, the Kootenai River below Libby Dam will continue to remain at or above flood stage. Additionally, due to very wet weather, the Kootenai River will likely remain above flood stage into next week.

Libby Dam inflow was 61 kcfs, with outflow of 48 kcfs. Lake Koocanusa elevation was a new record pool of eight and a half inches above normal full pool.

Bonners Ferry stage is expected to be stable or decrease slightly today (Thursday, July 5th).

Kootenay Lake level at Queen's Bay is expected to be stable today, but could potentially increase later this week due to hot weather.
